Basketball prospect Lauren Hainstock gives 17³Ô¹Ï Panthers enticing mix of size and versatility

As basketball continues to shift towards a positionless game, versatile players have become more and more valuable.

17³Ô¹Ï’s latest recruit, Lauren Hainstock, is one of those players.

Hainstock joins the Panthers as a six-foot-one forward, who has the skill set of a guard but the size to compete inside against the conference’s best interior threats.

New book celebrates history of St. Dunstan’s University

Award-winning author Leonard Cusack will launch a new book about the history of St. Dunstan’s University (SDU) from 1950–1969 on June 8, 2022, at 3:30 pm, SDU Lecture Hall, Faculty of Sustainable Design and Engineering building, 17³Ô¹Ï.

Published by , Caught in a Changing Society: St. Dunstan’s University 1950–1969 chronicles the golden years of expansion at an esteemed Catholic university and what led to the creation of the 17³Ô¹Ï. 

International Graduates Celebration Event

The Study & Stay PEI has partnered with the Office of Immigration, Holland College, and Collège de l'ÃŽle to host a special event for all PEI international students across the Island who have graduated or will graduate in 2021 and 2022.

The event will take place on Thursday, June 2, at the 17³Ô¹Ï W.A. Murphy Student Centre McMillan Hall 110. We will celebrate and connect you with the supports and services that will help you successfully establish your future in PEI. Admission is free. We also have many prizes for you.

Are you trying to find some dedicated time to finish a writing project that needs focused attention? Time to Write retreats offer concentrated time to support your writing efforts and can be instrumental in the initiation or completion of scholarly work such as an article, book or book chapter, grant proposal, curriculum or OER development, conference presentations, or other scholarly, creative projects.  

17³Ô¹Ï Health Centred Research Clinic conducting survey about COVID-19 vaccine and immunization program

The 17³Ô¹Ï Health Centred Research Clinic is seeking participants for a province-wide online survey that explores Islanders' views of the COVID-19 vaccine and ongoing immunization program. Eligible participants include residents of PEI over the age of 18 years.

Findings from the survey will be used to inform the development of the Island Vaccine Support Program, an intervention that aims to provide support to Islanders about immunization.
