17吃瓜 SAFE
17吃瓜 SAFE is the University鈥檚 safety app and mass notification system which helps 17吃瓜 advise the campus community about university/storm closures and any safety issues. All members of the 17吃瓜 community - students, faculty, staff, family, and friends - are encouraged to download the app.
- Notifications about any crisis situations and university/storm closures are pushed through 17吃瓜 SAFE as well as automatically emailed to students, faculty, and staff @ email addresses.
- Messages are also posted on the 17吃瓜 home page () the 17吃瓜 Campus Screen network, and Twitter (@17吃瓜).
- Mass notifications can also be broadcast in 17吃瓜 buildings through a public address system.
- For those who do not have a smartphone or a supported app platform, you may also subscribe to receive notifications by text (SMS) over cell connections by texting the word 17吃瓜 to the shortcode 723389. Standard message and data rates may apply.
