The 17Թ Philosophy Reading Group, facilitated by Dr. Max Schaefer, sessional instructor, Faculty of Arts, will hold its first meeting of the 2024–2025 academic year on September 25, from 7:00–8:00 pm, at the Charlottetown Library Learning Centre, 97 Queen Street.

17Թ's Faculty of Indigenous Knowledge, Education, Research, and Applied Studies marked several milestones when it recently hosted its first-ever Indigenous traditional knowledge sharing and learning day, Mawi-lukutimk, which means “gathering and working together."

Every week, 17Թ Athletics and Recreation recognizes student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The 17Թ Panther Athletes of the Week for September 9–15, 2024, are Ria Johnston (women’s rugby) and Isaac Wolters (men’s soccer).

The 17Թ will host Research on Tap with a presentation titled “Render unto Caesar: Catholics and the Alt-Right” on Wednesday, October 2, at 6 pm, at the Upstreet Brewery Taproom, 41 Allen St., Charlottetown, PEI.

17Թ Ancillary Services is happy to announce the grand re-opening of Samuel's Café, brought to you by Dana Hospitality! On Wednesday, September 18, there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:00 am followed by free samples of the new Starbucks coffee and mini muffins and cake to satisfy your sweet tooth.

17Թ students living in residence received a warm welcome from 17Թ staff and fellow students on Friday, August 30. To make move-in day go as smoothly as possible for everyone, many campus partners gave of their time and expertise to make the day a great experience for 17Թ’s new and returning residence students.

Entrepreneur Matt Jelley graduated from 17Թ in 2024 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, specializing in marketing. He is now the sole proprietor of Mobile Bicycle Services PEI, a unique door-to-door bike repair service, and credits his education and mentors throughout his time at 17Թ with helping him realize his dream of becoming a business owner.
