Research led by AVC faculty featured in Dairy Research Blog

A pan-Canadian research team, led by Drs. Javier Sanchez and Luke Heider, AVCs Department of Health Management, is developing a surveillance program to measure antimicrobial use (AMU) and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) on Canadian dairy farms, and the effectiveness of antimicrobial stewardship protocols and programs. The team has developed a platform called the Canadian Dairy Network of Antimicrobial Stewardship and Resistance (CaDNetASR) to collect data and monitor AMU and AMR. This new platform is a first for the dairy sector.

Emily-Anne MacQuarrie commits to 17勛圖 after strong showing in 17勛圖-CRFC rugby series

In the face of the adversity of 2020, one Charlottetown athlete took advantage of an opportunity that may not have presented itself otherwise. Emily-Anne MacQuarrie was looking forward to a year of competition and development on the Colonel Gray rugby team, but COVID-19 cut those dreams short.

Not being able to complete my Grade 11 season was disappointing for me, said MacQuarrie. I was working so hard during the off-season to make sure I could have the best season and be the best me for my team.
