Introducing PEI Climate Stories: Short videos exploring the impacts of climate change on PEI

The 17³Ô¹Ï’s Climate Research Lab, in coordination with ClimateSense, have launched a new series of short videos exploring the impacts of climate change on Prince Edward Island and the adaptation strategies being implemented by Prince Edward Islanders. The series is called PEI Climate Stories and has been released on a special YouTube Channel found at .

Faith Steeves and Matt Brassard win David Currie Jr. Panther Co-Educational Hockey Awards for Perseverance and Resolve

The first David Currie Jr. Panther Co-Educational Hockey Awards for Perseverance and Resolve were recently presented to Faith Steeves (17³Ô¹Ï Women’s Hockey) and Matt Brassard (17³Ô¹Ï Men’s Hockey). Both students receive $5000 for their excellence both on and off the ice.

Jay Ruzesky is a novelist, poet, travel and memoir writer, photographer, and professor of creative writing, Canadian literature, and film studies at Vancouver Island University. As a result of pandemic restrictions, his residency at 17³Ô¹Ï this February will take place on Zoom.

Ruzesky’s first event as 17³Ô¹Ï Writer-in-Residence is a public Facebook Live reading on Tuesday, February 9, at 7 pm. More information can be found on the .
