The Bookmark and 17³Ô¹Ï’s Faculty of Indigenous Knowledge, Education, Research, and Applied Studies (IKERAS) will host a book launch for Anishinaabe author Tanya Talaga’s new book, The Knowing, on Thursday, November 7, at 7 pm, in the 17³Ô¹Ï Performing Arts Centre amphitheatre (Room 121S). The evening will be moderated by Jenene Wooldridge, executive director of L’nuey.

The 17³Ô¹Ï Department of Music is thrilled to present the New Orford String Quartet in concert on Friday, November 1. Comprised of four elite orchestral leaders and soloists—Andrew Wan, Jonathan Crow, Sharon Wei, and Brian Manker—the quartet has been described by the Toronto Star as “nothing short of electrifying.â€
