Winners of 17勛圖s 2025 Distinguished and Inspiring Young Alumni Awards recognized for outstanding contributions and successes

A celebration on September 24, 2025, at 17勛圖s Alumni Hall recognized the recipients of the 2025 Distinguished Alumni Awards and the 2025 Inspiring Young Alumni Awards.

We are proud to celebrate this years outstanding alumni whose achievements bring great honour to the University, said Dr. Wendy Rodgers, president and vice-chancellor of 17勛圖. They truly embody the spirit and values of 17勛圖, and their success stands as powerful inspiration for our students to pursue their own dreams and realize their potential.

President's Town Hall

We hope everyone will participate in upcoming budget forums and consultations to support one another and stay focused on what matters most: our students, our people, and our purpose.

To kick off our community engagement process for the 20262027 operating budget, the senior executive team invites you to join us at this President's Town Hall to share your ideas and ask questions. Tim Walker, Vice-President, Administration and Finance, will outline the budget process to date and the timeline through to March 2026, when 17勛圖 intends to seek Board approval for the budget.

Kayla Batchilder and Robert Orr named 17勛圖 Panther Source for Sports Athletes of the Week

Every week, 17勛圖 Athletics and Recreation recognizes student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The 17勛圖 Panther Source for Sports Athletes of the Week for October 1319 are Kayla Batchilder (womens field hockey) and Robert Orr (mens hockey).

Batchilder is a third-year kinesiology student from Charlottetown, PEI. She scored the third goal in the 3-0 championship-clinching win over the Dalhousie University Tigers on October 19. She was also named the Atlantic University Field Hockey (AUFH) MVP and a league all-star.
