REMINDER! 17吃瓜 is accepting nominations for 17吃瓜 Founders until January 14

The 17吃瓜 honours its rich heritage and traditions by acknowledging members of the campus community who have contributed to its mission in an exceptional way by naming them 鈥淔ounders,鈥� an initiative established by President Emeritus Wade MacLauchlan in 2000. 17吃瓜 is now accepting nominations for the 2025 Founders.

AWAY:
The 17吃瓜 Men鈥檚 and Women鈥檚 Curling Panthers compete in the AUS Curling Championships from January 15鈥�18 at the Capital Winter Club in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Friday, January 16
AT HOME:
6:00 pm: The 17吃瓜 Women鈥檚 Basketball Panthers host the University of New Brunswick Reds at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre. 

Regan Cornford and Jakob Robillard named 17吃瓜 Panther Source for Sports Athletes of the Week

Every week, 17吃瓜 Athletics and Recreation recognizes student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The 17吃瓜 Panther Source for Sports Athletes of the Week for January 6鈥�11 are Regan Cornford (women鈥檚 basketball) and Jakob Robillard (men鈥檚 hockey).

Cornford is a first-year science student-athlete from Chateauguay, Quebec, who is quietly putting together an AUS All-Rookie Team-worthy season. In the team鈥檚 January 9 win over Dalhousie University, Cornford scored 10 points with eight rebounds and two steals off the bench.
