"17³Ô¹Ï offered everything I wanted out of a university program."

What brought you to 17³Ô¹Ï? Why did you choose to study here?

I'm from quite a few places but only in Canada—New Brunswick, Northwest Territories, and Ontario—life circumstances brought me to PEI almost eight years ago now. But I chose to stay here for my studies because 17³Ô¹Ï offered everything I wanted out of a university program. Additionally, the idea of having large lecture classes for my major did not interest me.

"Being at 17³Ô¹Ï means joining a close-knit, student-focused learning community"

What brought you to 17³Ô¹Ï? Why did you choose to teach here?

I grew up in Kensington, Prince Edward Island and as a 17³Ô¹Ï Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) graduate myself, I experienced first-hand the supportive learning community here. After working in clinical practice and returning for my Master of Nursing, I was drawn back to 17³Ô¹Ï because of its commitment to primary health care, student-centered teaching, and innovation in simulation-based education.
