After consultation with 17³Ô¹Ï’s Manager of Health, Safety, and Environment, our Offices will jointly ease restrictions regarding the mandatory wearing of masks in campus buildings.

On behalf of the Search Committee, I am pleased to share news that Dr. Svetlana Kochkina has been appointed as the University Librarian, for a five-year term, effective March 1, 2026.  

17³Ô¹Ï Panthers make history with bronze medal win at national field hockey championship

November 2, 2025, will go down as a landmark day for the 17³Ô¹Ï Panthers and the sport of field hockey in Prince Edward Island. The Panthers earned their first-ever national medal with a 2-0 victory over the Dalhousie University Tigers to capture bronze at the 2025 Field Hockey Canada U SPORTS National Invitational Championship, hosted by 17³Ô¹Ï from October 30 to November 2.

The historic win capped off a breakthrough season for the Panthers who were competing in only their second appearance at the national championship.
