Dr. Irené Novaczek's presentation about the ecosystem restoration project at Basin Head has been rescheduled for April 25 at 7 pm in the Faculty Lounge, SDU Main Building, 17³Ô¹Ï.

The 17³Ô¹Ï Track and Field team is excited to welcome Cornwall, PEI native Leah Campbell for the 2023–24 season. Head coach Colin MacAdam has no doubt she will help the team continue to improve their sprint and relay performances.

The 17³Ô¹Ï Board of Governors and members of the 17³Ô¹Ï Faculty Association (17³Ô¹Ï FA), Bargaining Unit 1 and Bargaining Unit 2, ratified a new collective on Friday, April 14, 2023, ending the faculty strike. Classes at 17³Ô¹Ï will resume Monday, April 17.

The 17³Ô¹Ï Mawi’omi Indigenous Student Centre has created a new award for Indigenous students attending the University, with support from the Government of Prince Edward Island.

The University issued an update to students and employees on April 6 to advise that Minister Bloyce Thompson has appointed Michelle Flaherty as the mediator for the upcoming talks with the 17³Ô¹Ï Faculty Association.
