Every week, 17吃瓜 Athletics and Recreation recognizes two student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The 17吃瓜 Panther Athletes of the Week for October 9鈥�15 are Charlotte Branchflower (women鈥檚 rugby) and Max VanWiechen (men鈥檚 soccer).

On Wednesday, October 4, 2023, the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the 17吃瓜 shone a spotlight on academic excellence and community impact during its annual Fall Awards and Recognition Night, held in The McCain Foundation Learning Commons.

It is with great sadness that I have to inform you of the passing of Dr. Carlo Lavoie, former chair of the Department of Modern Languages, Faculty of Arts on October 11, 2023, after a long illness.

Dr. Dominique Griffon has been appointed dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the 17吃瓜 for a five-year term, effective January 1, 2024.
