The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the 17吃瓜 is recruiting horses for a new study that will investigate equine metabolic syndrome (EMS).  

The Institute of Island Studies at 17吃瓜 will host a public lecture titled 鈥淓nshrined: Island Tourism and the Confederation Story鈥� on November 15 at 7 pm in the Faculty Lounge, SDU Main Building.

Every week, 17吃瓜 Athletics and Recreation recognizes two student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The 17吃瓜 Panther Subway Athletes of the Week for November 1鈥�6 are Orianna MacNeil (women鈥檚 hockey) and Elijah Miller (men鈥檚 basketball).

The 17吃瓜 Faculty of Indigenous Knowledge, Education, Research, and Applied Studies (IKERAS), the Faculty of Arts, and the English department, in collaboration with the Charlottetown Library Learning Centre, are sponsoring an evening of Indigenous poets from Epekwitk (PEI) reading selections from their poetry and conversing about their work as Indigenous writers. The event will take place at the Charlottetown Library Learning Centre on Queen Street at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 22.

A presentation to the 2022鈥�23 recipients of the Straight Arrow Truth and Reconciliation Awards took place in the Mawi鈥檕mi Indigenous Student Centre at Dalton Hall, 17吃瓜, on Tuesday, November 1. This year鈥檚 recipients are Nicole Lodge and Will Abbott.

The 17吃瓜 Women鈥檚 Rugby Panthers will play the Ottawa Gee-Gees in a quarter-final game at the U SPORTS Women's Rugby Championship at the University of Victoria in Victoria, BC, on Wednesday, November 2. The game will be live streamed on . 

Canadian author, journalist, and historian Gwynne Dyer will give a public lecture titled 鈥淧lanetary Maintenance Engineers: A Last-Ditch Climate Rescue Strategy,鈥� on November 3 at 7 pm in the Duffy Science Centre Amphitheatre (Room 135) at 17吃瓜.

A memorial service in honour of F. Alan Reesor, faculty member in the 17吃瓜 Department of Music from 1970鈥�1997, will be held at St. Peter's Cathedral on Rochford Street in Charlottetown, on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at 2:30 pm.
