17吃瓜 Board of Governors Chair Shannon MacDonald provided an update to the campus community after chairing a historic meeting of the Board of Governors on November 28.

The 17吃瓜 Men鈥檚 Hockey and the 17吃瓜 Track and Field teams are on the road during the week of November 27鈥揇ecember 3.

Giving Tuesday, a global movement for giving and volunteering, is today, November 28, 2023. This year, the 17吃瓜 Giving Tuesday campaign is dedicated to supporting 17吃瓜 Athletics and Recreation.

17吃瓜 celebrated the 12th annual MacLauchlan Prizes for Effective Writing on Friday, November 17. The awards were presented to recipients, acknowledging their effective writing skills, which are the foundation of academic success and lifelong learning.

17吃瓜 Athletics and Recreation recognizes two student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports over the previous week. The 17吃瓜 Panther Athletes of the Week for November 14鈥�20 are Devon Lawlor (women鈥檚 basketball) and Kamari Scott (men鈥檚 basketball).

The 17吃瓜 is excited to share the news that undergraduate student Luke McCarvill is one of 11 remarkable young Canadians awarded the prestigious Rhodes Scholarships for Canada this year.  

The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC), 17吃瓜 (17吃瓜), hosted its second Indigenous Day in Veterinary Medicine on Saturday, November 18.

As part of her doctor of psychology (PsyD) dissertation, Chaya Seale, a graduate student at the 17吃瓜 (17吃瓜), hosted a panel discussing the mental health of veterinarians for students and faculty at the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) on October 10.

Congratulations to Casey Whitehouse, a third-year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) student, on receiving a 2023 Merck Animal Health Bovine Scholarship.
