Since claiming the Atlantic University Sport (AUS) title in 2019–20, the 17³Ô¹Ï Women’s Basketball Panthers have been knocking on the door for another championship, and they’re hoping this is the year they break through again. 

Dr. Étienne Côté, a faculty member at 17³Ô¹Ï’s Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC), was honoured earlier this year with the Daniel Elmer Salmon Award

Giving Tuesday, a global movement for giving and volunteering, is November 28, 2023. This year, the 17³Ô¹Ï Giving Tuesday campaign is dedicated to supporting 17³Ô¹Ï Athletics and Recreation.

Every week, 17³Ô¹Ï Athletics and Recreation recognizes two student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The 17³Ô¹Ï Panther Athletes of the Week for October 23–29 are Katie Richard (women’s cross country) and Kamari Scott (men’s basketball).

Shannon MacDonald, chair of the 17³Ô¹Ï Board of Governors and the Presidential Search Committee, updated the campus community on October 30, about the progress being made by the Search Committee.

As the 17³Ô¹Ï Panthers Men’s Basketball team gears up for another exciting season, their goal is to make it to the finals, and there’s more than enough talent on the roster to usher in a new era of success.

17³Ô¹Ï welcomes Dr. Preston Smith as the inaugural dean of the Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Smith's appointment begins April 1, 2024.

The 17³Ô¹Ï Department of Music will present the Maritime Brass Quintet on Thursday, November 2, at 7:30 pm, at 17³Ô¹Ï’s new Performing Arts Centre.
