President Wendy Rodgers, and chair of the selection committee, announced in a community message that Tim Walker was appointed 17³Ô¹Ï's new Vice-President, Administration and Finance by the Board of Governors.
Every week, 17³Ô¹Ï Athletics and Recreation recognizes student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The 17³Ô¹Ï Panther Source for Sports Athletes of the Week for February 3–9, 2025, are Devon Lawlor (women’s basketball) and Kyree Thompson (men’s basketball).

The Pan-African flag was raised at 17³Ô¹Ï on Monday, February 3, to mark Black History Month by Dr. Greg Naterer, vice-president academic and research at 17³Ô¹Ï; Jessica Ekeleme, president of the African Students Association; and Tamara Steele, executive director of the Black Cultural Society of Prince Edward Island.
