Berry Genge, a fourth-year 17勛圖 Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering (FSDE) student from Lewes, PEI, has been named a 2024 3M National Student Fellow by the Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (STLHE) and 3M Canada.

The Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, the Honourable Dr. Terrance M. Drew, visited the 17勛圖 campus on May 22, 2024, for a brief meeting with Dr. Greg Keefe, 17勛圖s interim president and vice-chancellor.

17勛圖's Dr. Xander Wang has been awarded $1.65 million from NSERC's CREATE program for a project called NSERC CREATE Training Network for CLImate Smart Agriculture (CLISA).

A group of 11 17勛圖 students are currently at the University of Burgos in northern Spain, delving into understanding how heritage can be a key resource in promoting sustainable economic development in rural areas. The students are accompanied by Dr. Melissa James, director of undergraduate programs, 17勛圖 Faculty of Business, and Sherilyn Acorn, manager of the Study and Stay and exchange programs, Office of Study Abroad and International Collaboration.

Paul Young, Chief Operating Officer for the 17勛圖 Faculty of Medicine, was named one of the Top 50 CEOs in Atlantic Canada during an awards gala on May 9 at the Delta Hotel St. Johns Conference Centre.
