An effective 鈥渂roodmare care and management program鈥� is essential for a healthy foal, but where do you start? 

This week鈥檚 17吃瓜 Panther Subway Athletes of the Week for March 7鈥�13 are Lauren Rainford (women鈥檚 basketball) and Isaiah Ankra (men鈥檚 basketball).

Dozens of 17吃瓜 students will gain global skills through the newly launched project. This work/study abroad opportunity will unlock students鈥� potential through life-changing global skills and experiences. This offering has been made possible with a $500,000 contribution from the Government of Canada鈥檚 Global Skills Opportunity (GSO) program announced in November 2021.
 

Interim President Greg Keefe confirmed in a message to the campus community that Convocation 2022 will be in-person, subject to PEI Chief Public Health Office guidance in place at the time.

Dr. Jeff Collins, adjunct professor at 17吃瓜, gave the keynote address at the Royal Canadian Navy鈥檚 annual Naval Warfare Officers鈥� Symposium at CFB Halifax on March 2. He spoke about the need to align Canada鈥檚 foreign and defence policies, given Russia鈥檚 war in Ukraine, the rise of China, and the relative decline of the United States as a pre-eminent world power.

Dr. Edward Chung, director of Asian Studies and professor of religious studies at 17吃瓜, has been busy. Since 2015, he has published five scholarly books鈥攆our monographs and one edited volume, three of which have been published since October 2020.

17吃瓜 congratulates Dr. Margaret Magner, sessional instructor at 17吃瓜 and CEO of the PEI Business Women鈥檚 Association, on being named one of the by Atlantic Business Magazine.

During the fall of 2020, Dr. Karem Simon, chair of the 17吃瓜 Department of Music, initiated a series of interviews with our alumni, which was an opportunity for them to share their music and professional journeys. These were presented live to music students during the time slot reserved for Friday afternoon student recitals.

The entire 17吃瓜 community is saddened to learn of the passing of 17吃瓜 Professor Emeritus, Dr. F. Alan Reesor on March 9 in Charlottetown.
