| Administration

The Vice-President Academic and Research and the Vice-President Administration and Finance issued a message on January 2, 2021, to employees that the University would lift restrictions in place before the holiday break and return to Stage Three of 17勛圖's Operational Ease-Back Plan.

| Atlantic Veterinary College

A pan-Canadian research team, led by Drs. Javier Sanchez and Luke Heider, AVCs Department of Health Management, is developing a surveillance program to measure antimicrobial use (AMU) and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) on Canadian dairy farms, and the effectiveness of antimicrobial stewardship protocols and programs.

Krystin Matters, who graduated from 17勛圖 this spring with a major in Religious Studies and a minor in Asian Studies, has accepted a position as an assistant English language teacher with the (JET) program.

| Atlantic Veterinary College

The 17勛圖 is proud to announce that Dr. Caroline Ritter, Assistant Professor of veterinary epidemiology at the Atlantic Veterinary College, has been appointed Canada Research Chair (CRC) specializing in veterinary social epidemiology. Dr. Ritter is also the recipient of a John R. Evans Leader Award (JELF) from the Canadian Foundation of Innovation (CFI).
