17³Ô¹Ï has named James Voye as the head coach of 17³Ô¹Ï Women’s Rugby. Voye is an award-winning veteran coach with experience at the high school, club, provincial, and national levels.

Dr. Marya Ahmed, an assistant professor of chemistry at 17³Ô¹Ï, has been named one of 15 Emerging Scholars by the Canadian Cancer Society for her research to develop a dual-targeting strategy for the treatment of breast cancer.

Flags on the 17³Ô¹Ï campus will be flown at half-mast until sunset on June 8 to honour and grieve the lives of the 215 First Nation children whose remains were found in unmarked graves at a former residential school in Kamloops, BC.
