Atlantic Business Magazine recently named Paul Young, 17吃瓜's Chief Operating Officer of the Faculty of Medicine, as a Top 50 CEO in Atlantic Canada.

The 17吃瓜 Women鈥檚 Basketball Panthers are pleased to announce that Karla Benitez will make her debut as a member of their team this fall.

The 17吃瓜鈥檚 four-year doctor of psychology (PsyD) in clinical psychology program has been granted accreditation for a three-year term by the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA).

On Thursday, May 11, six student teams pitched their business concepts for a share of $50,000 in prize money from the Harry W. MacLauchlan Entrepreneurship Program during the 17吃瓜 Panther Pitch Competition. The competition for entrepreneurial undergraduate students is coordinated each year by 17吃瓜鈥檚 Experiential Education Department. 

The Honourable Graydon Nicholas, a highly respected Wolastoqey Elder, lawyer, judge, social worker, and activist, will give a presentation titled 鈥淚nculturation in the Indigenous Context and Catholic Church鈥� on Thursday, May 25, at 10 am, in Don and Marion McDougall Hall, Room 242, 17吃瓜. 

Reilly Sullivan, a fourth-year biology student and varsity athlete at the 17吃瓜, has been awarded a by the Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (STLHE). 

Prince Edward Island author Deirdre Kessler will launch a new children鈥檚 chapter book, Adventures of an Island cat named BRUPP, on Sunday, May 21, at 2 pm, in the Carriage House, Beaconsfield, 2 Kent Street, Charlottetown.

Dr. Laurie Brinklow, an assistant professor of Island Studies at 17吃瓜, will give a seminar titled 鈥淭he Bridge Effect: A Case Study of Prince Edward Island, Canada, with some implications for Gozo鈥� on May 24, from 11:30 am to 1 pm ADT.
