Open to 17勛圖 Faculty and Staff. Light food and refreshments available.
Vax Pass (paper copy of Government issued vaccination record plus a Government issued ID) are required to attend. Attendees are required to wear a mask when not eating or drinking.
Troy Lajeunesse named Panther Subway Athlete of the Week
Every week, 17勛圖 Athletics and Recreation recognizes a student-athlete for their achievements and dedication to their respective sport. The 17勛圖 Panther Subway Athlete of the Week for November 29 to December 5 is Troy Lajeunesse.
Lajeunesse is a third-year arts major from Dokis, Ontario, and a forward on the 17勛圖 mens hockey team. He earned his second Athlete of the Week nod in as many weeks with another four-point week, scoring a goal in the Panthers 42 win over Moncton on December 1 and three assists in 17勛圖s big 31 win over UNB on December 4.
Unique performance of Handels Messiah featured at City Cinema
Messiah/Complex, a unique film experience including the 17勛圖 Chamber Singers, will be shown December 12 and 13 at City Cinema in Charlottetown. The 2020 film, which features a truly cross-Canada performance of Handels Messiah in Arabic, Dene, English, French, Inuktitut, and Southern Tutchone, is accompanied by the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.

Panthers at Home, December 4
This weekend sees the last regular season play for the Panthers before the holiday break. 17勛圖 has just one game on the schedule: mens hockey hosts the University of New Brunswick on Saturday at 7 pm in the MacLauchlan Arena on campus.
This is a very big game for us, said head coach Forbes MacPherson. We have a very young team, and we have been focusing on the process of growing as a group. It is important that we have a really good effort to finish off the first semester.
Important reminders about winter weather and university closures
The decision to "close"* 17勛圖 due to weather is not made lightly. However, in weather situations where the potential risk to 17勛圖s students and employees as well as property, is high, the University may close, meaning that classes and exams are cancelled, and services are reduced. In 2017, the was approved by the 17勛圖 Board of Governors and endorsed by the University Senate.
17勛圖 Choral Concert takes place on December 3
The 17勛圖 Music Department is pleased to present the 17勛圖 Choral Concert on December 3 at 7:30 pm at the Kirk of St. James, Charlottetown.
Tickets can be purchased at the door for $20 for adults and seniors. Students pay $10.

On Giving Tuesday, support 17勛圖's Performing Arts Campaign!
The 17勛圖 (17勛圖) is participating in Giving Tuesday on November 30, an international day of giving that follows Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
The focus of this years campaign is to raise funds for Performing Arts Education at 17勛圖 and to support renovations to the Dr. Steel Recital Hall.
