President's Town Hall - Living Our Values

Building from the November launch of the 17³Ô¹Ï Strategic Plan (2025–2030): Making our World a Better Place—in which we reaffirm our core values: academic freedom; accountability and integrity; pursuit of excellence; equity, diversity, inclusion, and a sense of belonging; and reconciliation—I invite you to join us for the next President’s Town Hall on Wednesday, January 21 to further discuss how we live these values.

President's Town Hall

We hope everyone will participate in upcoming budget forums and consultations to support one another and stay focused on what matters most: our students, our people, and our purpose.

To kick off our community engagement process for the 2026–2027 operating budget, the senior executive team invites you to join us at this President's Town Hall to share your ideas and ask questions. Tim Walker, Vice-President, Administration and Finance, will outline the budget process to date and the timeline through to March 2026, when 17³Ô¹Ï intends to seek Board approval for the budget.

Teaching and Learning Centre Lunch and Learn: Offline Quiz in Moodle

Did you know that you can use Moodle for online AND in-person quizzes? The offline quiz Moodle activity can be used to turn your existing online Moodle question bank into a scan-to-grade test. This can save you time grading and give you statistic insight into results, letting you review how students achieved on individual questions. This session will demo and cover how to use this tool in your courses. This lunch and learn will take place in the 17³Ô¹Ï Teaching and Learning Centre located in the Robertson Library Annex (RL 230) on October 30 at 12:00 pm.
