Dear University Community,

"The commitment of the Elders, faculty, and staff is most impressive."

Dr. Angelina Weenie, from Sweetgrass Nation, Saskatchewan, was appointed dean of the 17³Ô¹Ï Faculty of Indigenous Knowledge, Education, Research, and Applied Studies (IKERAS) in July of 2024.

What brought you to 17³Ô¹Ï? Why did you choose to join the Faculty of Indigenous Knowledge, Education, Research, and Applied Studies?

This is an exciting opportunity for me to be part of IKERAS. I am from the Prairies and the East presents new learning and life opportunities.
