The 17勛圖 School of Mathematical and Computational Sciences (SMCS) held a Pi Day celebration on March 14, 2023. There was a good turnout of students and faculty for the celebration, which included pie eating, dressing up in math-related attire, math trivia, and the featured eventthe annual SMCS Integration Tournament.
The Program hosted its Bridge to PEI Networking & Conference events on March 10 and 11. Abby Goodwin, Study & Stay PEI program coordinator and Cecia Huang, program assistant, thank the students, speakers, and those involved with putting together this successful event.

Dr. Edward Chung, director of Asian studies and professor of religious studies at 17勛圖, has received two grants totalling $621,850 to advance Korean and Asian studies at 17勛圖, including the creation of a new research centre focusing on this field, which will be the first of its kind in Atlantic Canada.
The first-ever 17勛圖 Panther Pitch competition took place two years ago as part of the Harry W. MacLauchlan Entrepreneurship Program. This year, 17勛圖's Experiential Education Department is re-offering the program through March, culminating in a pitch competition in May.
