The Bookmark and 17³Ô¹Ï’s Faculty of Indigenous Knowledge, Education, Research, and Applied Studies (IKERAS) will host a book launch for Anishinaabe author Tanya Talaga’s new book, The Knowing, on Thursday, November 7, at 7 pm, in the 17³Ô¹Ï Performing Arts Centre amphitheatre (Room 121S).

17³Ô¹Ï biology students Leah Campbell, of Cornwall, PEI, and Alexa Marshall, of Bay Roberts, NL, spent two weeks in Costa Rica this summer, gaining practical veterinary experience as participants of Loop Abroad’s Costa Rica Pre-Vet Wildlife Medicine program.
Dr. Wendy Rodgers was officially installed as the seventh President and Vice-Chancellor of the 17³Ô¹Ï during a ceremony held at the 17³Ô¹Ï Performing Arts Centre on Friday, October 11, 2024.
AVC honoured students and faculty during the annual Fall Awards and Recognition Night. More than $260,000 in scholarships and 80 awards were presented. Also, Dr. Cate Creighton received the Students of the CVMA Teacher of the Year Award.
