17³Ô¹Ï’s Faculty of Business will hold an information session for those interested in its Executive MBA program. The event will be on Tuesday, November 26, at 5:00 pm at The Gallery, located in The Guild in Charlottetown.
17³Ô¹Ï’s EMBA program offers a high-quality learning experience for working business professionals. The program is designed for those working in, or aspiring to work, in a management or leadership position. Classes are offered bi-weekly on Fridays and Saturdays with the option to complete the program in 20 months.

17³Ô¹Ï Sports Legacy Celebration
The 17³Ô¹Ï will induct three members into the 17³Ô¹Ï Sports Hall of Fame at its 17³Ô¹Ï Sports Legacy Celebration on November 14, 2019. Tessa Roche, Vernon Pahl, and the 1984–85 17³Ô¹Ï Men’s Hockey team will be the 48, 49, and 50th inductees, respectively, bringing the total membership of the 17³Ô¹Ï Sports Hall of Fame to 50.

A committee representing each of these groups came together to plan the best Health and Fitness Week possible. AVC faculty member receives funding for ‘spectrum of care’ course for students
Veterinarian Michelle Evason will never forget her first emergency shift just four weeks after she graduated from veterinary college. On a hot July night almost 20 years ago, a young boy, accompanied by his mother, brought in his cat. The animal was very sick—it was ice cold to the touch, barely able to lift its head, and lethargic.
Evason knew what the problem was—a blocked urinary tract—and how to treat it. But in the end, the family could not afford to pay for the procedure that could have saved the cat they clearly loved. The only other option was humane euthanasia.
17³Ô¹Ï Kinesiology Program and PEI Kinesiology Association Celebrating Kinesiology Week
Members of the 17³Ô¹Ï Kinesiology Program and the PEI Kinesiology Association are celebrating National Kinesiology Week with an Open House at the University on November 12. Members of the kinesiology program will give tours of the 17³Ô¹Ï Kinesiology research and teaching labs in the Steel Building from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. This will be followed by the Kinesiology PEI annual general meeting in the Health Science Building, Room106, at 7:30 pm. Anyone interested in learning more about the 17³Ô¹Ï Kinesiology program or the field of kinesiology in PEI is encouraged to attend.
Director of the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute’s Center for Conservation and Sustainability gives talk
The 17³Ô¹Ï hosted Dr. Francisco Dallmeier, director of the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute’s Center for Conservation and Sustainability, when he visited Prince Edward Island in November to give a talk on Climate Change Impacts on Biodiversity.
Global Village Multicultural Festival
Our annual 17³Ô¹Ï Global Village Multicultural Festival takes place on Friday, November 15 at 6:00 pm in McMillan Hall of the W.A. Murphy Student Centre. The 17³Ô¹Ï Global Village Organizing Committee is excited to invite the public to celebrate with us during our free multicultural event. It is an opportunity to celebrate campus diversity, community building, and friendships while learning about other cultures, enjoying performances, and dancing.
