This workshop is an online session to help 17³Ô¹Ï students and alumni learn job search strategies. This workshop will discuss strategies for finding employment opportunities based on your goals.

2021 17³Ô¹Ï Career Fair goes virtual on March 10
The 17³Ô¹Ï Experiential Education Department and 17³Ô¹Ï Career Services are hosting the annual Career Fair for students and alumni on Wednesday, March 10. The virtual fair will look a bit different this year, but it will still be packed with opportunities from 25 employers.
The fair will be hosted online and will consist of videos from local employers who are recruiting 17³Ô¹Ï students and alumni. The videos and accompanying digital program will allow job-seeking students and alumni to connect with employers to learn about and apply for various job opportunities.
17³Ô¹Ï bovine mastitis research supported by New Frontiers of Research Fund
A research project by Dr. Marya Ahmed, an assistant professor of chemistry at the 17³Ô¹Ï, is being supported by the Government of Canada’s (NFRF). Dr. Ahmed is exploring methods to use short strings of amino acids, known as peptides, as a replacement to traditional treatments of mastitis infections in dairy cows. The NFRF is contributing $250,000 to this project.
Good things come in threes: 17³Ô¹Ï cross country recruits a trio of star runners from Colonel Gray
When Mike Peterson agreed to return as 17³Ô¹Ï’s cross country head coach in the summer of 2019, his first order of business was to retain Prince Edward Island’s best talent. He has done just that, recruiting a trio of strong runners from Charlottetown’s Colonel Gray High School: twin sisters Katie and Grace Richard, and Maya Abou ElNaja
