Community engagement event in Georgetown on October 18 about net zero project

Residents of Georgetown, PEI, and other stakeholders are invited to participate in a community engagement event about the Georgetown net zero project on Wednesday, October 18, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Georgetown Elementary School. 

The event is hosted by the 17Թ Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering—Future Urban Energy Lab for Sustainability (FUEL-S), the Government of Prince Edward Island, and the 17Թ Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation.

17Թ appoints new dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Dominique Griffon has been appointed dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the 17Թ for a five-year term, effective January 1, 2024.  

“I am very pleased to welcome Dr. Griffon to 17Թ,” said Dr. Greg Naterer, vice-president academic and research at 17Թ. “I look forward to working with her as we move forward to an exciting future for the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC), and the University as a whole.”
