Distinguished 17吃瓜 Music Alumni Series Podcasts
During the fall of 2020, Dr. Karem Simon, chair of the 17吃瓜 Department of Music, initiated a series of interviews with alumni, which was an opportunity for them to share their music and professional journeys. These were presented live to music students during the time slot reserved for Friday afternoon student recitals.
While the pandemic has been an obstacle for its continuation, this series was recently re-imagined as an online platform, which has enabled conversations with our alumni from around the world. Interviews have been recorded with:

17吃瓜 extends condolences on the passing of Dr. F. Alan Reesor, Professor Emeritus
The entire 17吃瓜 community is saddened to learn of the passing of 17吃瓜 Professor Emeritus, Dr. F. Alan Reesor on March 9 in Charlottetown. The flags in front of the Kelley Memorial Building have been lowered to half-mast in his memory.
Dr. Reesor was a long-time faculty member of the 17吃瓜 Music Department, joining the University as musicologist and organ professor in 1971. He began serving as the church organist and choir director at St. Peter鈥檚 Cathedral that same year.

A panel of three teaching and educational leadership award recipients Amy MacFarlane (Business), Kathy Snow (Education) and Jason Pearson (Chemistry) will be here to share their experiences.
The session will take place in the Teaching and Learning Centre and will be recorded.
Panthers at Home, March 9 and 11鈥擨t鈥檚 PLAYOFF time!
It鈥檚 the most exciting time of year in winter sports, when both 17吃瓜 hockey teams prepare for the playoffs.
17吃瓜 Women鈥檚 Hockey kick things off Wednesday night when they host the St. Thomas Tommies in a win-or-go-home quarter-final game. Puck drops at 7 pm. The winner will then move on to a best-of-three semi-final. So, let鈥檚 "PACK THE MAC" and help us cheer on the Panthers who look to capture their second AUS championship. Tickets can be purchased at the Bell Aliant Centre box office Wednesday at 6 pm.
