RISE Program Information Session
The RISE program is part of community legal information here on PEI. They work with people who have experienced sexual violence, intimate partner violence, and workplace sexual harassment. They provide support through legal information, referrals to community services, and up to 4 hours of advice from a trauma-informed lawyer at no cost to the client.
Meet Trish Van Bolderen, professional translator and 17勛圖 Modern Languages graduate
Trish Van Bolderen lives in Dublin, Ireland and works full-time as a freelance translator (from French and Spanish into English) and English-language reviser. She also works as a Translation Studies scholar, having obtained a PhD in that area.

The event begins with refreshments and a reception. Dr. Greg Naterer, 17勛圖 Vice-President Academic and Research, will give the welcoming address.

17勛圖 mourns the loss of faculty member Dr. Kai Liu
The 17勛圖 community is saddened to learn of the recent death of Dr. Kai Liu, assistant professor in the 17勛圖 School of Mathematical and Computational Sciences.
On behalf of the University community, I extend my sincere condolences to Dr. Lius family, friends, and colleagues, said 17勛圖 President and Vice-Chancellor Greg Keefe in a message to the campus community on Thursday, March 30.
PEI Bunny Hop takes place on April 8
For the third consecutive year, the 17勛圖 Distance Running Program is managing the popular PEI Bunny Hop, which will take place on Saturday, April 8, starting at 8:30 am at Colonel Gray High School.
Since the 1970s, the Bunny Hop has been a popular road-running race on PEI and is typically considered the official start to the Islands road-racing season. The race is a fun run through Charlottetown, with distances of 5k and 10k. The first 100 registrants receive a free Bunny Hop T-shirt. The cost is $25.
