Thank you to everyone who has shared stories celebrating their colleagues—it’s inspiring to see our community come together to recognize those who go above and beyond every day. 

17³Ô¹Ï has lowered the flags near Kelley Memorial Building to half-mast in honour of the victims of the Tumbler Ridge tragedy. 

The 17³Ô¹Ï Panthers are looking forward to a week of competition at home and away. At their home games, senior players will be recognized for their contributions to their respective sports. 

The 17³Ô¹Ï Panther Source for Sports Athletes of the Week for February 2–8 are Chiara Esposito (women’s hockey) and Owen Smith (men’s basketball).

17³Ô¹Ï has received Notice to Bargain from 17³Ô¹Ï FA #2, CUPE 1870, and IBEW 1928. We will continue to update the 17³Ô¹Ï community throughout the collective bargaining process.

Dr. Marie Pascal, assistant professor in the 17³Ô¹Ï Department of Modern Languages, has published a new book titled L’abject sublime dans la transcréation au Canada.

The Hewitt Foundation gifts $1 million to support 17³Ô¹Ï's Faculty of Medicine, helping to advance key priorities, including enhancing learner experiences, innovative teaching, and simulation-based education, while strengthening medical training opportunities on PEI.
