The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the 17吃瓜 (17吃瓜) celebrated staff members during its annual Ice Cream Social and honoured a retiree for their years of service.

The 17吃瓜 Global Brigades Medical Chapter recently returned from a successful trip to Ghana where they volunteered their service to public health projects and mobile medical clinics in underserved communities from May 25 to June 4, 2024.

The University is excited to announce that the Rathlyn Foundation has donated $1 million to create entrance scholarships for every 17吃瓜-based medical student in their first year of study. The announcement comes just as the admissions portal opens for the first cohort of students at Memorial University's regional campus at 17吃瓜.

Members of the 17吃瓜 community came out in large numbers to attend a barbecue on Monday, June 24 at the 17吃瓜 Chaplaincy Centre to celebrate inclusion and hospitality.

The 17吃瓜 community was saddened to learn of the passing of Panther great and 17吃瓜 Sports Hall of Fame member Tracy Ellsworth on June 21, 2024.

The 17吃瓜 held its Convocation ceremony on June 9 at its campus in New Cairo, Egypt.

Dr. Mark Fast, professor of fish health and immunology at the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC), 17吃瓜, is the recipient of the Aquaculture Association of Canada Research Award of Excellence.

The month of June in Canada has been officially acknowledged as  since 2009, in recognition of the rich history, heritage, resilience, and diversity of First Nations, Inuit, and M茅tis Peoples across Canada.
