In a message to the campus community, Vice-President Administration and Finance Jackie Podger announced the 17吃瓜鈥檚 latest sustainability initiative鈥斺�淏ack to Tap鈥�.  

Vice-President Podger wrote, 鈥淎s a University we are always open to suggestions to reduce our carbon footprint. It is my pleasure to introduce our newest initiative鈥斺�淏ack to Tap鈥濃�攊ntended to support a greener campus.鈥�

Congratulations to Alyssa Ferguson and Filip Rydstrom, the 17吃瓜 Panther Subway Athletes of the Week for October 22 to 28.

17吃瓜 Men鈥檚 and Women鈥檚 Soccer will honour their graduating seniors this weekend as the Panthers wind down the 2018 season. 

Congratulations to Jolena Gillard and Simon Hofley, the 17吃瓜 Panther Subway Athletes of the Week for October 15鈥�21.

Before an audience of over 100 people, two juvenile eagles stretched their wings and flew off into the sky at the Macphail Woods Ecological Forestry Project on Saturday, October 13, in Orwell, P.E.I. Prior to the release of the eagles, Mi鈥檏maq Elder Junior Peter-Paul led a smudging and drumming ceremony. 

17吃瓜鈥檚 School of Mathematical and Computational Sciences sent a team of 29 students and six faculty members to the 2018 Conference for Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science. 

The next concert in the 17吃瓜 Department of Music Recital Series will feature mezzo soprano Julie Nesrallah, accompanied by Robert Kortgaard on piano. 

Dr. David Mowat will present a public lecture at 17吃瓜 in advance of his keynote presentation at the 2018 PEI Health Promotion Conference. 

The 17吃瓜 Board of Governors approved several major policies at its October 4, 2018 meeting.
