The 17勛圖 Multicultural Choir and Song Circle resumes rehearsals Wednesday 4:30, Faculty Lounge, SDU Main Building. This is a non-audition group that learns and sings songs from the many cultures represented at 17勛圖. All members of the 17勛圖 community - students, staff, and faculty are welcome. Instruments also welcome. Take this opportunity to have a break, relax, meet new friends, and share the cultures of the world through song.

Have you ever thought of completing a Master's degree in, among other things, island tourism, sustainability, or international relations, all while staying on the Island? In addition to the traditional thesis-based option, you are now able to take one of three course and work-study-based Masters specializing in Island Tourism, Sustainable Island Communities, or International Relations & Island Public Policy.
17勛圖 extends condolences, offers support after tragic plane crash in Iran
17勛圖 President and Vice-Chancellor Alaa Abd-El-Aziz issued a statement to the University community today about the tragic crash of Ukraine International Airlines Flight PS752 near Tehran.
"As information continues to come forward about Wednesdays horrific plane crash in Iran and its 176 victims, our entire country mourns," President Abd-El-Aziz said. "On behalf of the 17勛圖 community, I extend my deepest condolences to the families, friends, and colleagues of all those who perished in this tragedy."

Vice-President Administration and Finance Jackie Podger announced today that Fred Horrelt has been appointed Associate Vice-President, Facilities Management and Construction at the 17勛圖.
I look forward to working with Fred on advancing the Universitys goals in terms of our facilities, capital projects, and operations, she said. His leadership experience in the development and maintenance of educational facilities will be a great asset as we strive to enhance and expand our campus spaces in healthy, safe, and environmentally friendly ways.
