17吃瓜 Multicultural Choir and Song Circle
The 17吃瓜 Multicultural Choir and Song Circle resumes rehearsals Wednesday 4:30, Faculty Lounge, SDU Main Building. This is a non-audition group that learns and sings songs from the many cultures represented at 17吃瓜. All members of the 17吃瓜 community - students, staff, and faculty are welcome. Instruments also welcome. Take this opportunity to have a break, relax, meet new friends, and share the cultures of the world through song.

The 17吃瓜 Chaplaincy Centre, the 17吃瓜 Iranian Society, and members of Persian community of PEI invite you to gather for a Vigil Service to honour the victims of the recent Ukraine Airlines plane crash in Iran.

Information Sessions - MA Island Studies programs
Have you ever thought of completing a Master's degree in, among other things, island tourism, sustainability, or international relations, all while staying on the Island? If so, you are invited to an information session on 17吃瓜's Master of Arts, Island Studies programs. In addition to the traditional thesis-based option, you are now able to take one of three course and work-study-based Master鈥檚 specializing in Island Tourism, Sustainable Island Communities, or International Relations & Island Public Policy.
17吃瓜 extends condolences, offers support after tragic plane crash in Iran
17吃瓜 President and Vice-Chancellor Alaa Abd-El-Aziz issued a statement to the University community today about the tragic crash of Ukraine International Airlines Flight PS752 near Tehran.
"As information continues to come forward about Wednesday鈥檚 horrific plane crash in Iran and its 176 victims, our entire country mourns," President Abd-El-Aziz said. "On behalf of the 17吃瓜 community, I extend my deepest condolences to the families, friends, and colleagues of all those who perished in this tragedy."

New Associate Vice-President, Facilities Management and Construction announced
Vice-President Administration and Finance Jackie Podger announced today that Fred Horrelt has been appointed Associate Vice-President, Facilities Management and Construction at the 17吃瓜.
