Seeking tourism operators for a survey on the impacts of COVID-19
Students in 17勛圖s MBA in Global Leadership program created a survey to better understand the impacts of COVID-19 on the tourism industry. The project is part of a partnership with the (TIAPEI) and . Tourism operators are asked to complete the before July 31.
A network of kindness supports the 17勛圖 Food Bank

17勛圖 launches Gold Rush 50-50 fundraiser on the 17勛圖 Panthers app
The 17勛圖 Department of Athletics and Recreation has partnered with PEI-based Thinking Big Information Technology Inc. to launch the Gold Rush 50-50 fundraiser on the 17勛圖 Panthers app. The first Gold Rush draw will take place on Saturday, August 1 at 8 pm.
Gold Rush is a virtual 50-50 fundraising initiative that will raise funds for 17勛圖s varsity and club sport programs as well as enhance recreational offerings that are available to all 17勛圖 students.
Two 17勛圖 faculty members win SSHRC publication awards
Dr. Laurie Brinklow and Lori Mayne, two faculty members at the 17勛圖, have been awarded SSHRC Exchange Publication Awards. Two $5,000 awards are given out annually to support the publication of manuscripts written or edited by 17勛圖 faculty, including contract and sessional faculty, in the social sciences and humanities. Both of these books will be published by Island Studies Press in 2021.
Panther Academy welcomes back campers July 6
17勛圖 Athletics and Recreation is excited to welcome campers back to campus as Panther Academy re-opens on July 6! Panther Academy offers three exciting themed camps for children ages 4 to 12.
Panther Academy Camps will be operating with the safety and security of all campers as our priority. Participants can choose to attend Momma Js Jelly Bean Gym, Stroke of Genius, or Fun N Fitness.

Engineers Canada is celebrating three female engineers at 17勛圖 as part of International Women in Engineering Day (INWED). INWED is a day to raise the profile of women in engineering, highlighting their important contributions in their communities.

AVC receives NSERC funding for outreach program for Indigenous youth
The Atlantic Veterinary College, 17勛圖, has been awarded $29,400 by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) for a project entitled Youth Engagement in Veterinary Medicine: A Model to Enhance Indigenous Youth Connection to STEM.
