The 17勛圖 Department of Religious Studies will present Theology on Tap on March 4, 2025, at 7:00 pm, at the Salvador Dali Cafe, The Arts Hotel, 155 Kent Street, Charlottetown.
Dr. Brenton Dickieson, a lecturer in the Faculty of Arts and a founding member of the Curiosity and Inquiry Research and Collaboration Lab, will give a presentation titled, Because My Old Heart Would Burst: A Settlers Reflection on Indigenous Spaces in Octavia Butler and C.S. Lewis.

What brought you to 17勛圖? Why did you choose to study here?
I was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh and have lived in Charlottetown for as long as I can remember (since grade three). Prior to that, I lived in Scarborough, Ontario. I am in my fifth and final year as a computer science co-op student here at 17勛圖.

17勛圖 will host Research on Tap with a presentation titled The Puzzle of Existence and Reality on Tuesday, March 11, at 6 pm, at the Upstreet Brewery Taproom, 41 Allen St., Charlottetown, PEI.
Dr. Nebojsa Kujundzic, Professor, Department of Philosophy, is the guest speaker for the event.
Discussion group about DUCKS: Two Years in the Oil Sands
The PEI Advisory Council on the Status of Women, in partnership with 17勛圖 SVPRO, is hosting an on-campus discussion group on February 26, at 3:00 pm in Kelly Memorial Building, Room 210, to explore themes of gender-based violence, migratory labour, the environment, student debt and extractive industries in "DUCKS: Two Years in the Oil Sands" by author Kate Beaton. Snacks and emotional support are available during the event. It is not required to own a copy or have read the book prior to the event . Copies are available at the Robertson Library and Charlottetown Learning Library.
