17吃瓜 Men鈥檚 Basketball Coach Tim Kendrick announced today that Burlington, Ontario native Kyle Rotterman has committed to the Panthers for 2016鈥�17.

A team of students from the 17吃瓜 is seeking sponsors and donors to support its entry in the 2016 Baja SAE Competition. 

The 17吃瓜 has partnered with the 17吃瓜 Student Union and PEI Liquor Control Commission on a responsible alcohol consumption campaign called 鈥淜eep it Social.鈥�

A joint research project at the 17吃瓜 and Cape Breton University is seeking families with a member who migrates to northern Alberta to work in the oil and gas sector. 

The 17吃瓜 Iranian Society invites the community to the 17吃瓜 campus for an evening of live music, dancing, entertainment, and a Persian/Afghani dinner and dessert to celebrate the Persian New Year, Nowruz.

17吃瓜 Fencing Club member Spencer McGregor had a successful weekend at the UNB Shield tournament in Fredericton, March 12-13.

17吃瓜 Women鈥檚 Soccer Coach Graeme McDonald is pleased to announce that Saint John, New Brunswick native Raine Easton has committed to the Panthers for 2016鈥�17.

The Island Studies Lecture Series continues Tuesday, March 22, with a lecture by Dr. Jim Randall entitled 鈥淟earning About Islands: Writing an Undergraduate Textbook in Island Studies.鈥� The talk begins at 7 pm in the Faculty Lounge of 17吃瓜鈥檚 SDU Main Building.

17吃瓜 co-op students will be recognized for their achievements in cooperative education at the annual Co-op Awards Ceremony on Thursday, March 17, from 4-5:30 p.m., in the Robertson Library.
