On December 6, 1989, at approximately 5 pm, what should have been a joyful celebration of camaraderie and the end of the school semester turned into a tragedy.

Starting January 6, 2020, the Atlantic Veterinary College at 17吃瓜 will serve as the small animal after-hours primary emergency clinic for most of the private veterinary clinics on Prince Edward Island.

The Atlantic Veterinary College at 17吃瓜 presented the 2019 Hon. Eugene F. Whelan Green Hat Award, to Apple Valley Farm, a swine production facility in Pisquid, PEI, on November 14, 2019.

The Island Lecture Series鈥� presentation for December features visiting scholar Dr. Dacia Leslie, speaking about the prison system in her home country of Jamaica.

It was a busy year of activities for faculty, staff, and students from 17吃瓜, the University of Nairobi, and Kenyatta University (Kenya) participating in a program entitled 鈥淚ntegrated Innovative Research & Training for Improved Sustainable Livelihoods of Kenyan Farming Communities.鈥� 

17吃瓜 is re-launching the Office of Continuing Education and Professional Development (OCEPD) for 2020. 

Join us this Saturday for a double header as 17吃瓜鈥檚 women鈥檚 and men鈥檚 hockey teams play their last home games before the December break.

The 17吃瓜 Concert Choir, under the direction of Sung Ha Shin-Bouey, will perform George Frideric Handel鈥檚 The Messiah-Part I (plus the Hallelujah Chorus) in collaboration with the Atlantic String Machine and 17吃瓜 voice majors as soloists.

The Charlottetown Christmas Parade will take place on Sunday, December 1, 2019, beginning on University Avenue at Enman Crescent at 5:00 pm.
