Special 17吃瓜 Board of Governors meeting set to approve 17吃瓜 Action Plan
The following message was also emailed to students, staff, and faculty on March 22, 2024.
Dear Members of the 17吃瓜 Community,
Since the release of the in June 2023, 17吃瓜 has been actively engaged in listening, learning, and developing an action plan to respond to all the recommendations outlined within the 17吃瓜 Review.
I am pleased to advise that, after a multi-pronged consultation process and an endorsement by the 17吃瓜 Senate, the 鈥�17吃瓜 Action Plan: Building Trust, Safety, and Inclusion on our Campus鈥� will be presented to the 17吃瓜 Board of Governors for approval at a special meeting (via Zoom) on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 12:00 pm.
Given the plan鈥檚 focus on accountability and the need for change, as well as to acknowledge the participation of so many members of the campus and broader Island community in its development, I would like to invite you to this special meeting to mark the occasion. For logistical purposes, please email board@upei.ca by end-of-day March 26 to obtain the Zoom meeting coordinates.
Again, I thank everyone for working together to make 17吃瓜 the community we all know it can be鈥攐ne that supports a culture of inclusion, trust, and safety within our campus.
