17吃瓜 hosted a delegation from the Tokyo Metropolitan Environment Bureau and the Tokyo Climate Change Adaptation Center in Japan at its Charlottetown and St. Peter鈥檚 Bay campuses on January 21.
Dr. Xander Wang, a professor in 17吃瓜鈥檚 Applied Climate Change and Adaptation program and director of the 17吃瓜 Climate Smart Lab, has been awarded the prestigious American Geophysical Union鈥檚 (AGU) for his outstanding contributions to the advancement of geospatial data visualization technology to increase public awareness of climate change.
17吃瓜's Dr. Xander Wang has been awarded $1.65 million from NSERC's CREATE program for a project called 鈥淣SERC CREATE Training Network for CLImate Smart Agriculture (CLISA).鈥�
The 17吃瓜 Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation is hosting an exhibition titled 鈥淲isqoq, The Basket Tree,鈥� by Climate-Artist-in-Residence Elder Francis Jadis, until May 7.
