17吃瓜 residence students provided a sense of community and connection this winter

Each year at 17吃瓜, approximately 150 residence students remain on campus during the break between first semester exams and early January when students return to classes for the second semester. This year, the 17吃瓜 International Student Office, in cooperation with Student Affairs staff, Campus Life Advisors, Residence Life, and the 17吃瓜 Alumni Association, supported and organized some activities for these students during the break, providing a sense of community and connection.

17吃瓜 Bachelor of Science in Nursing students Amelia Jenkins, Abby Kinch, Teasha McPhee, and Niloufar Sedighpoor recently completed a survey of students living in residence as part of their fall semester 2024 Population Health course.

17吃瓜 residence students make a difference with door-to-door food drive

On Sunday, October 27, 17吃瓜 residence students took part in a door-to-door food drive, Trick or Eat庐, in support of the 17吃瓜 food bank. Led by Residence Life Advisor (RLA) Shelby Dyment, the 17吃瓜 residence team organized the event and collected non-perishable food items along a collection route in Charlottetown. The event, which is part of a national initiative, was deemed a success by everyone involved.

Move-In Day on the 17吃瓜 campus a positive experience thanks to many

17吃瓜 students living in residence received a warm welcome from 17吃瓜 staff and fellow students on Friday, August 30. To make move-in day go as smoothly as possible for everyone, many campus partners gave of their time and expertise to make the day a great experience for 17吃瓜鈥檚 new and returning residence students.
