17吃瓜 has many clubs and societies in which students can participate in and may vary from year to year. Engineering has a variety of specific clubs that students can get involved in, which have included the Baja Club, FSDE Precious Plastics, 17吃瓜 Drone Club, and Engineers without Borders.

17吃瓜 Global Brigades

The 17吃瓜 Global Brigades take students to remote, rural, and under-resourced communities in Honduras, Ghana, Greece, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Panama. In 2023, Engineering participated in the Brigades to design and implement systems in a remote community in Honduras.
