The 17吃瓜 received the sad news yesterday that Leo Cheverie, a passionate and dedicated member of the University community, has passed away.

Leo graduated from 17吃瓜 in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts in history and Canadian Studies, and the following year, he began working at the Robertson Library as a library technician. He was very well-known to the campus community and beyond for his strong commitment to labour and social justice causes, his love of community and cultural events and activities, and his passion for supporting and helping others.

The 17吃瓜 flags have been lowered in Leo鈥檚 memory.
