New location for Let's Talk About Race event
In honour of Black History Month, join the 17³Ô¹Ï EDI office and the 17³Ô¹Ï Mawi'omi Indigenous Student Centre in an open conversation about race and racism in Dawson Lounge on the fifth floor of SDU Main Building on February 10, at 1 pm. Please note that the location of this event has been changed to Dawson Lounge.
We will explore where we are with our understanding of anti-racism, where we want to be in leading anti-racist values, and how we can get there, as well as navigating the challenges that exist in being anti-racist.
This conversation will be co-facilitated by Amirah Oyesegun (they/them), Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in Employment Systems Advisor with the 17³Ô¹Ï Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Office, and Jasmine Pauze (she/her), coordinator of the Mawi'omi Indigenous Student Centre.
