Maymester 2019: The Planning, Pitfalls, and Pleasures of Taking Students to Europe 

Please grab your lunch and join us in the Main Building Faculty Lounge on September 25th from 12:00-1:00 pm for the first brown-bag lunch of the term.

This past May, Arts and Sciences faculty members took 17吃瓜 students on field schools to the UK, France, and Ireland as part of courses in English, History, Biology, and Religious Studies. In our brown-bag session, we will briefly introduce the planning and pedagogy that went into the courses, and, along with a few of our returning students, will discuss the joys and challenges of taking students abroad.
