RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will provide administrative support to the recruitment team within the Recruitment and First Year Advising Office in the Student Experience Hub. The position will work closely with student recruiters to provide information relevant to the university’s recruitment and retention efforts to high schools, students, parents, agents, and the campus community.
- Provide general administrative support to recruitment and reception services to the area
- Answer prospective student inquiries and provide updates on student application and admissions status for both domestic and international students by email or phone
- Process and sort student requests on our CRM platform, and daily use in Zendesk ticketing system
- Process financial claims and expenses by the recruitment team and monitor the account
- Ship recruitment materials to school counselors, and prospective students
- Enter and maintain student information and leads in university CRM/Recruit systems and maintain privacy and confidential information
- Schedule advisement, prospective student and registration appointments
- Participate in admissions update consultation and provide feedback to the team
- Room bookings for meetings and on campus events, including facilities work orders
- Perform other related duties as required for efficient functioning of the office
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of a post-secondary program in a related office program with related office experience
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to accomplish tasks under pressure
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Comprehensive knowledge and skills in word processing, email, internet, database management and spreadsheets
- Ability to work independently and prioritize task in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with the university environment, experience with CRM software, and familiarity with academic regulations and procedures would be considered assets
