The members of the 17吃瓜 Wind Symphony are excited to return to live performance for the first time in a year with a program of works by British composers. Featured works for this December 1st recital include Philip Sparke's playful and expressive 鈥淗anover Festival,鈥� Ralph Vaughan William's iconic 鈥淔olk Song Suite鈥� (including the original 4th movement, 鈥淪ea Songs鈥�), a set of three musical 鈥淧ortraits of the North鈥� by British Canadian composer Robert Buckley, and the first movement of Edward Gregson's 鈥淭uba Concerto鈥� featuring 17吃瓜 Music student Olive MacPhail as soloist.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students, and will be available for purchase with cash at the door of the event.
