Accessibility Services would like to invite you to the 17吃瓜 Accessibility Services Orientation Day. This year we are thrilled to be able to offer two options for students to participate; in-person and online through 17吃瓜鈥檚 learning platform, Moodle. This will be an excellent opportunity to familiarize yourself with and learn more about Accessibility Services at 17吃瓜. Topics will include: 

• How to use Access Deck for Exam Accommodations

• How to use Moodle

• How to use my17吃瓜

• Information on Assistive Technology

• Information about Academic Accommodations 

• And Much More!!

In-person Accessibility Services Orientation will TENTATIVELY (pending COVID restrictions) take place on Wednesday, September 1st, 2021 from 9 am - 3 pm ADT. We will meet in Room 104 in the Health Sciences Building (HSB - #3 on Campus Map). We will send out a detailed schedule of the day by August 25th, 2021.

Online Accessibility Orientation will launch on Wednesday, September 1st, 2021 at 9 am ADT. We will also host a live Question and Answer session on September 2nd, 2021 at 11 am ADT.

A couple of reminders if you are attending the in-person session:

• If available to you, please bring your own laptop or tablet

• Remember to bring your student ID number, username, password, and class schedule

If you require Early Move-In for residence to attend Accessibility Orientation, you must make your request using  and indicate your move-in date as August 31st, 2021.

Parking: Students will be able to park in the metered parking lot behind the Steel Building (SB - #6 on map). See
