Our Stories
Zoe discovered a passion for studying climate change at 17³Ô¹Ï after moving to the Island from New Brunswick.
Following his father's advice to study in North America, Prabhakar travelled from Mauritius to join 17³Ô¹Ï's unique engineering program.

Chris Vessey is a Systems Administrator, Laboratory Instructor, and a Sessional Instructor in the School of Mathematical and Computational Sciences at 17³Ô¹Ï. Older than dirt itself, he’s been around 17³Ô¹Ï in a teaching capacity since 2000, but also had a stint from 1990 to 1995 as a User Services Support Technician in what is now called ITSS.
Dr. Mike MacLellan, Associate Professor for 17³Ô¹Ï’s Kinesiology program, joined the Department of Applied Human Sciences in 2018. The main goal of his teaching approach is to develop innovative leaders who will make meaningful contributions to the community following graduation.
